NATCHITOCHES - The Northwest Louisiana High School Literary Rally, sponsored by and held on the campus of Northwestern State University, will be March 14, according to rally executive secretary Frances Conine.
The rally, one of the oldest and largest in Louisiana, is held each year to qualify academically talented students for the state competition at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge on April 18.
Schools participating in the upcoming rally include Airline High School, Alexandria Senior High School, Bolton High School, Caddo Magnet High School, Captain Shreve High School, C.E. Byrd High School, Huntington High School, Natchitoches Central High School, Northwood High School, Parkway High School, Pineville High School, Southwood High School, Benton High School, Booker T. Washington High School and Bossier High School.
Caldwell High School, Grant High School, Green Oaks Magnet High School, Lakeview High School, Leeesville High School, North Caddo High School, Winnfield Senior High, Coushatta High School, Evangel Christian Academy, LaSalle High School, Loyola College Prep, Many High School, Montgomery High School, Plain Dealing High School, Rapides High School, Zwolle High School, Atlanta High School, Calvin High School, Castor High School, Central School Corporation and Converse High School will also be participating.
Others involved include Dodson High School, Ebarb High School, Florien High School, Gibsland-Coleman High School, Hall Summit High School, Hicks High School, Martin High School, Negreet High School, Northwood High School, Pelican-All Saints High School, Pleasant Hill High School, Ringgold High School, Riverdale High School, Saline High School and St. Mary's High School.
