FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NATCHITOCHES -The NSU Symphony Band and Wind Ensemble will present a concert Monday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public. This concert was originally scheduled for March 16.

Jeffrey C. Mathews will conduct the Symphony Band and Kevin Richardson will conduct the Wind Ensemble.

The Symphony Band will perform Ovation by Martin Ellerby, Air for Band by Frank Erickson, Summer Dances by Brian Balmages and Bullets and Bayonets by John Phillip Sousa and arranged by Harold R. Gore. The NSU Symphonic Band Percussion Ensemble will perform Early Tuesday by Steven McCardle. Christopher McCardle will conduct the Percussion Ensemble.

The Wind Ensemble will perform Windsprints by Richard Saucedo, Fantasies on a Theme by Haydn by Norman Dello Joio, Nessun Dorma from Turandot by Giacomo Puccini, Pas Redouble' by Camille Saint-Saens and Concertino for Four Percussion and Wind Ensemble by David R. Gillingham.
