NATCHITOCHES -The Small Business Development Center at Northwestern State University and the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to present a one-day leadership seminar, "Effective Leadership: Be the Best You Can Be," Tuesday, Oct. 6.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. and is $35. Advance registration is preferred. The seminar will be from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., and will be held in the David Morgan Auditorium.
Featured speaker for the seminar will be Bob Ash, the creator of Life Lessons. Ash has provided training to more than 55,000 people in 43 states and two other countries. Before setting up his own business, Ash worked in education and was a noted speaker and trainer.
Ash will teach participants how to find their own strengths, become an effective leader, remain a loyal employee and look for opportunities.
