FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NATCHITOCHES - Northwestern State University awarded degrees to the largest class in the school's 116-year history as 652 students received degrees at spring commencement exercises.
Thirty-six students received bachelor's degrees with honors, completing their degrees with grade point averages of 3.7 or better.
Graduating summa cum laude with an average of 3.9 or better were: Donna Dilday Adams of Fort Polk, Matthew Aaron Creighton of Natchitoches, Deaunna Renaye Smith Fleming, Wendy Renee Lanier and Jennifer La'el Lord of Shreveport, Natasha Lynn Gray of Bossier City, Sheila Darlene Monk of Boyce, Jocelyn Christine Stewart of Maurice, Jessica Nicole Walker of Haughton and Misty Royal Williams of Many.
