FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NATCHITOCHES-The Mrs. H.D. Dear Sr. and Alice E. Dear School of Creative and Performing Arts at Northwestern State University will hold a Faculty Showcase Concert Friday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. The concert is part of the Louisiana Music Teachers Association Conference being hosted by NSU. Admission is free and open to the public.

The concert will include "Let the Bright Seraphim" by Handel featuring Terrie Sanders, Galindo Rodriguez and Charles Jones, Stravinsky's "Symphony of Psalms" featuring Dr. Burt Allen and the NSU Concert Choir, Christine Burczyk Allen, and Betsy Allums Widhalm, and "Carnival of the Animals" by Saint-Saens featuring Nikita Fitenko and Katerina Zaitseva along with other NSU faculty members and students.
