FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NATCHITOCHES -Dennis Simons, the conductor and music director of the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra, and his wife, Penny Simons, will present a violin-piano recital at Northwestern State University Sunday Sept. 16.

The recital will be at 3 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall on NSU's Natchitoches campus. Admission is free and open to the public.

Simons was the co-concertmaster of the London Symphony and the BBC Philharmonic. Dennis Simons, a violinist, and his wife Penny, a pianist, have performed in major concert halls around the world. Last summer the duo performed in Finland.
