NATCHITOCHES -The annual Northwestern State University alumni gathering in Winnfield will be held at the Pine Ridge Country Club Monday, July 31. All NSU alumni, friends, staff and supporters are invited to participate.

The gathering will include a four-person golf scramble beginning at 1:30 p.m., with an NSU coach or staff member playing on each team. A prime rib dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a short program featuring NSU President Dr. Randall J. Webb, Athletic Director Greg Burke, Head Football Coach Scott Stoker, Head Basketball Coaches Mike McConathy and Jennifer Graf and other NSU staff. Participants will get a preview of the 2006-07 school year and will have the opportunity to welcome future NSU students from Winn Parish into the NSU family.

The cost of the dinner is $10 per person. Participation in the golf scramble is free of charge.
