NATCHITOCHES -The Northwestern State University Writing
Project, NSU's Department of Language and Communication, and the
NSU Elementary Lab School will be conducting a one week summer
writing camp for students in grades two through six on June 5-9
at the Elementary Lab School. The camp will be from 8:30 a.m.
until 12:30 p.m. on Monday and Friday, and from 8:30 a.m. until
3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Campers will be provided with opportunities to enrich and broaden
their knowledge of the surrounding area's culture and history
through writing experiences based on field trips to Adai Caddo
Living History Museum, The Cane River Creole National Historical
Park and Melrose Plantation.
