About Continuing Education
at the NSU College of Nursing
The College of Nursing’s Continuing Education Program exists to
furnish nurses with the opportunities and resources necessary to maintain
and expand their knowledge, skills and competencies. Responding to state,
regional and national needs of nurses in clinical, nursing education
and research, the Continuing Education Program prepares nurses to meet
the current and future challenges of nursing. Participants will receive
Continuing Education credit.
Accreditation
The Northwestern State University College of Nursing is accredited as
a provider of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses’ Commission
on Accreditation, American Nurses
