Electronic Student Services

Northwestern offers two means or portals (myNSU and Web for Students) for students to access various types of information and perform functions (registration, view housing information, cancel registration, etc.) pertaining to their attendance at the University. Shown below is a summary of the functionality provided by these two portals and who may access these portals.

Web for Students

Who May Use:  Web for Students may be accessed by currently enrolled and former students.

Summary of Functionality:  In addition to registration, dropping, and adding courses, the Student Web system provides the following services for students:

myNSU

Who May Use:  myNSU may only be accessed by currently enrolled students. When a student is no longer enrolled, his/her access is terminated within 24 hours.

Summary of Functionality:  The myNSU Student Portal displays data from various systems/databases on a single display. In some cases links are available to "drill down" and obtain more detailed information. Additionally, a robust Help capability is available to describe the functionality provided.
