Abstract

In partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Bachelor of Arts Degree in the Fine and Performing Arts Concentration, I researched the origination and sensationalism of the television talk show. I also studied the formats and techniques of two female talk show hosts. From this inforrnation I developed a format and hosted my own talk show: Dishin' With Vita. This project not only allowed me to apply the knowledge I have already learned in the classroom but it has enabled me to experience the production of an actual talk show first hand.
