Abstract

This thesis is dedicated to addressing the problems that lawyers have had and are still having with their writing skills. An overview of some of the attacks against lawyers and legal education history are given in the first chapter. By reviewing the efforts of undergraduate schools, law schools, and in-house writing seminars, I examine the current attempts to help lawyers communicate better with each other and with society.
