Southern Regional Honors Council (SRHC) conference to be held in Birmingham,
Alabama on March 27-29, 2008.

This year we have new submission options in addition to the traditional
individual podium and poster presentations, and panel presentations. The
new
options include Short Digital Films, Music performances, and an
Art/Sculpture exhibition. We will also have a series of Best Practices
in
Honors panel presentations which should be of particular interest to
faculty, staff and honors administrators.
Abstracts can be electronically submitted on-line at the SRHC website
located at www.SRHConline.org by January 31, 2008. Alternatively they
can be
emailed to sloane@uab.edu by the same deadline. Those submitting abstracts
will be notified by email of the acceptance status of their abstract shortly
after the deadline.

March 2008 is the next deadline for NEF Undergraduate-Student Research (USR) grant-program proposals. Future deadlines TBA.
