Keith Dromm specializes in 20th century analytic philosophy, especially the philosophy of Ludwig Wittgenstein. He also has interests in epistemology, the philosophy of film, and applied ethics. Before coming to the Scholars' College, Keith taught at universities in Arizona, Idaho, and Ohio.
Dr. Dromm has written Wittgenstein on Rules and Nature (Continuum Books, 2008); chapters for Spielberg and Philosophy (University of Kentucky Press, 2008), The Office and Philosophy (Blackwell, 2008), and The Philosophy of the X-Files (University of Kentucky Press, 2007); and articles for various philosophy journals. He has also presented papers at conferences throughout the United States and Europe.
In addition to teaching philosophy courses, Dr. Dromm has developed some unique interdisciplinary courses for the college, including Love and Tyranny, the Post-World War II American Avant-garde, and the Novels of Chuck Palahniuk.
