Sociology Student Organizations

NSU Sociology Club

The Sociology Club is open to all students who are interested in the human society. As members of this club, students have the chance to explore topics and settings for which time in the classroom does not allow.

Faculty and junior and senior undergradu ate students who have high scholastic achievement may join the society. In addition membership entitles students to funding support for attendance at professional meetings ($500), networking opportunities with over 494 chapters, community involvement, and allows undergraduate students to compete in an Undergraduate Student Paper Competition in which winners have all their travel expenses covered at the Annual Meeting of the American Sociological Meetings.
