Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate students must meet one or more of the following criteria:

1. First Generation (neither parent graduated from a four year college)

2. Low Income (meets federal guidelines for low income)

3. Disabled (documented learning, physical, or emotional disability)

Student Support Services is a division of University College at Northwestern State University, is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education, TRIO Programs. 

SSS prepares students for college life and provides assistance and guidance through the college years. 

Student Support Services is comprised of a Director, three Master's level Counselors, a tutor coordinator and ten tutors. 

All members of Student Support Services work in concert to increase student satisfaction, persistence, and degree completion.

Opening hours:

Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
