By developing and sponsoring highly effective programs, services, and activities in accord with the ever changing needs and interests of our students, we accomplish a University goal of maintaining a student-centered environment composed of satisfied students.
As a professional staff, we engage two basic tenets in promoting a learning environment for students: collegial decision making and self governance. The voice of the student is heard as decisions are made relative to campus life. Learning outcomes are specified by various department throughout the Division of Student Affairs and are grouped into the following categories: autonomy and independence; leadership and service; and healthy life styles and personal growth. Throughout the Division of Student Affairs, standing committees, task forces, and the Student Government Association allow for students to be involved in the governance and day-to-day operation of the University.
The success of the Division of Student Affairs is predicated upon the many contributions of the professional staff available to work with you.
