Jake
(Jointly Administered Knowledge Environment)
Jake is a database which contains information about various online periodical indices. Jake can be used in several ways:
to determine which online database(s) indexes a particular journal
to determine which online database(s) contains full text of a particular journal
to expand journal abbreviations (e.g. Engl Hist Rev)
to obtain a journal's ISSN
Jake is a tool designed to help you locate the appropriate online database to go to in order to search a particular journal. You will not be connected directly to any database from Jake.
