Library Faculty Meeting

Present: Fleming Thomas, Lisa Bond, Sally Carroll, Abbie Landry, Gail Kwak, Dale Sauter, Sonny Carter, Mary Linn Wernet, Linda Cox, Corinne Pearce

The meeting was convened to discuss SACS goals.

The following committees were appointed:

Goal 1 - Abbie, Fleming
Goal 2 - Gail, Melissa, Corinne
Goal 3 - Sally, Linda
Goal 4 - Mary Linn, Sonny, Dale
Lisa will be project coordinator.

New set of objectives will be made in August.

The group reviewed pages 1-4 of the planning document and adjourned to committees. Revised goals and objectives are due to Lisa no later than one week from today.

The August meeting will focus on long-range planning. Emphasis must be placed on getting people physically into the library.

The budget for the upcoming year is tight. Travel money will be limited. Enhancement funds are available but we have not been given an amount.
