Minutes for the Hospitality, Morale and Student Employee Committee meeting

Meeting held Wednesday, October 10, 2004 @10:30 a.m., in Watson Library, room 309F

Present: Y. Bobb (co-chair), Jackie Hawkins (co-chair/treasurer), S. Helaire (secretary), Lawrence Anglin, John Coutee, Mandi Johnson, Dale Sauter

Absent: Fleming Thomas (ex-officio), Annette Merrell, Terrie Sebren


Discussed the details for the Christmas Luncheon.
a. It will be held December 16, 2004 at 12:00 noon in the Staff lounge
b. The same food menu will be used from last year
c. If the Director doesn’t cook the turkey, Mandi said that she will do it
d. Christmas ornaments will be given as gifts
e. Instead of putting numbers on the Christmas ornament gifts, we will play the Left\Right game
f. Sontonia will poll everyone in the Library to see if they would like to participate in pulling names for secret pals
g. Jackie will contact the retirees

Yolanda will e-mail everyone on the Committee to find out which months they would like to sign-up for the birthday celebrations and to see what other celebration that would like to do.

Tentative dates for the Student Christmas Party are December 7-9, 2004
