Watson is the main University  library housing a collection of approximately 350,000 books, journals and documents as well as the library’s central services and administration.

Circulation and Reserves Desk

At the Circulation Desk you will check out library books and reserve materials. Most items circulate for 3 weeks. Don’t forget to bring your Student ID!
 

 

 

Reserves

Professors put library materials "on reserve" so each student will  have the opportunity to use them. Some reserve items may be checked out just like regular books, and the circulation period is shorter than normal, but most must remain in the library.  

 Reserve desk

Reserve items are shelved by the instructor's last name. You need to know your professor's name and the course name and number.

 

 

Computer Lab

The library contains a student computer lab with word processing, internet, and email and chat applications.  To use the lab you MUST have your student ID.

 

 

Using the photocopier

 

Photocopiers

Photocopiers are on your left as you pass  the Circulation Desk. Another copier is on the third Floor. The copiers do NOT take change; you need your Speed Demon Card or purchase one from the vending machine.

We don't have change.  The vending machine does not accept the new style $20, $10 or $5 bills.  Copies cost ten cents each. You will need a minimum of two $1 bills.  The card costs One dollar, and you will need to put at least one additional dollar on the card to make copies.
