Media / Serials desk

The most recent year's publication of magazines and journals as well as older bound numbers are arranged alphabetically by publication title. When the library catalog refers you to the Serials Shelves; this is the place to look. Remember, current issues may not leave this area.

Microfilm is a storage medium for information such as issues of journals and newspapers.  It is in large metal cabinets to the right of the Serial Shelves. The advantage of microfilm is that it lasts a lot longer than, for example, old newspapers.  Microfilm is arranged by publication title and then by year.
