Raylon Bailey of Bossier City was one of dozens of undergraduates who presented during Northwestern State University’s 39th annual Research Day. Bailey’s project, “Heart Monitor Glove Phase 1: Design and Construction,” focused on configuring heart rate detection to correspond with flashing LEDs on a LED rave glove and exporting basic electrocardiogram data wirelessly. Bailey is an undergraduate majoring in biology/microbiology with Dr. Anna Dugas as faculty mentor.
