Demon Intramurals

Whether you’re here to win or just in it for the fun, NSU Intramural Sports is your go-to for friendly competition, staying active, and meeting new people. From flag football to dodgeball, our leagues and tournaments offer the perfect balance of chill and challenge. It’s all about teamwork, good vibes, and getting involved—no experience needed, just bring your game face.

Your Intramural Playbook: What to Know Before You Go

Got questions about joining the fun? We’ve got answers. From how to sign up to what sports are offered, this is your go-to guide for all things Demon Intramurals. Let’s get you in the game.

Do you have to be a full time student to play?

Taking at least one class? You’re in. Whether you’re on campus, online, or tuning in from a satellite location, you’re eligible to join the fun. Just a heads up—if you’re enrolled in less than 3 credit hours, swing by the WRAC to pay a $5.50 intramural fee and you’re good to go.

What are the major sports leagues offered?

We keep the competition fierce and the fun non-stop with four major intramural leagues: football, softball, basketball, and volleyball. Whether you’re chasing touchdowns or spiking for the win, there’s a league ready for your game.

How much does it cost to participate?

Minor events? Totally free. Want in on the big leagues—football, softball, basketball, or volleyball? Just rally your squad and cover the $30 team fee to lock in your spot.

What do we get if we win?

Win big, wear it proud. All Demon Intramural champs score an exclusive championship tee—plus, surprise prizes pop up at select events. Take the title in a major sport and your team could rep NSU at state-level competitions.
