All Northwestern State University campuses open Thursday

NATCHITOCHES – All campuses of Northwestern State University will be open and resume normal operations on Thursday, January 29, 2026.

Classes will be held as scheduled, and faculty and staff will return to their regular work schedules. Residence halls, dining services, and all campus operations will function under normal schedules.

Members of the university community are encouraged to continue exercising caution while traveling, particularly during morning hours, and to remain alert for any lingering winter weather impacts.

Students who experience travel-related difficulties should contact their professors or academic advisors. Faculty and staff who are unable to safely travel should work directly with their supervisors.
