Experience the sights, sounds, and stories of Louisiana as the Folklife Festival brings our state’s rich traditions, music, food, and culture to life in one unforgettable celebration.

Join us July 19, 2025, at NSU’s Hall of Traditional Crafts in Natchitoches for Crafting Louisiana—a family-friendly festival featuring 100+ craftspeople, folk foods, KidFest activities, live music and jams, Cajun and Zydeco dance lessons, the Louisiana State Fiddle Championship, and the Red Beans & Rice Cookoff.

Prather Coliseum and the CAPA Annex/Magale Recital Hall are fully wheelchair accessible.
