NATCHITOCHES – A chamber recital featuring Northwestern State University music faculty member Sofiko Tchetchelashvili will be presented on Tuesday, March 10 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. This chamber recital features the viola in collaboration with a variety of instruments. This program showcases duets and trios with violin, clarinet, oboe, piano, and voice, highlighting the rich versatility of chamber music. Tchetchelashvili will collaborate with colleagues Leah Forsyth, Chialing Hsieh, Andrej Kurti, Malena McLaren and Terrie Sanders.
Spanning musical styles from Mozart to John Williams, the recital explores both classical elegance and contemporary cinematic expression through intimate ensemble performance.
