NATCHITOCHES – Watson Library at Northwestern State University will host a livestream of “TED Democracy Philadelphia: Founding Futures” on Saturday, June 13 at 8 a.m. in the Fleming and Jean D’Amato Thomas Reference Room on the second floor. The event is free and open to the public.

According to Director of Libraries Dr. Megan Lowe, the daylong symposium features 15+ brand-new TED Talks focused on the evolution and future of democracy streaming live from Philadelphia during America’s 250th anniversary.

Lowe said the event should provide big ideas, thoughtful conversation and a shared civic moment.
