At NSU, TRIO Student Support Services is here to help first-generation students, those from modest-income backgrounds, and students with disabilities thrive in college and beyond. Our goal? To guide you all the way to your degree—within four to six years—by equipping you with the tools to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Whether you’re tackling tough coursework or just need help staying on track, TRIO SSS Tutoring services are here to assist you. Our peer tutors are trained to guide you through challenging subjects and boost your study skills to aid in your academic success.

Tutoring Services

Student Support Services offers tutoring in all core classes and most upper level courses. TRiO Student Support Services offers both virtual as well as socially distanced in-person tutoring Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Fridays 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. To schedule an appointment please visit the computer lab in room 243 B of Kyser Hall, email our main email at triosss@nsula.edu or call 318-357-5901.
