NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern Lyrica and Orpheus will present a concert “The Light We Carry” on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 3 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Adam Philley, associate director of Choral Activities, will conduct this fall choral performance, and Micah Dugas and Steven Mendoza will serve as collaborative artists.

“Our program traces the seasons of our lives, moments when the light feels bright and confident, and moments when it’s softer, flickering or hard to find,” says Philley. “Through every chapter, we discover strength, comfort and joy in community, standing beside one another in song.”

With more than 150 singers across five choral and vocal ensembles, NSU’s School of Creative and Performing Arts vocal area offers a vibrant place for majors and non-majors to grow. Our students explore diverse repertoire, collaborate with guest artists, and gain experiences that prepare them to perform in today’s world.
