BSRS with a Concentration in Ultrasound

Undergraduate Program

About BSRS Ultrasound Concentration

Located in Natchitoches, this option prepares students in Abdominal/General, OB/GYN, and Vascular modalities, qualifying graduates for all three certification exams. Clinicals take place in Natchitoches, Shreveport, and Alexandria. Each cohort is limited to 8–10 students.

 

  • Deadline to apply: August 31 (for spring clinical start)

 

The program also offers a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate for licensed imaging professionals with a bachelor’s degree.

About RT to BSRS

Already an ARRT-registered radiologic technologist? The RT to BSRS program helps you advance your career with a customized plan that recognizes your experience and education. You may earn credit for up to 45 hours of prior coursework.

About BASAH

Already working in healthcare? Want to advance? The BASAH program is designed just for you. Fully online, flexible, and built to honor your previous education, this degree allows you to transfer general ed and up to 30 hours of clinical coursework.

Program Length: Seven semesters

Locations: Natchitoches (online and didactic), plus clinicals in Shreveport, Alexandria, and Natchitoches.

Designed for those with a BASAH degree, this graduate program prepares leaders in Clinical Education and Clinical Operations.

Articulations

Northwestern State University and the following Universities have agreed to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding for articulations with associate degree programs. The articulations will allow students to complete their Associate Degree and transfer their credit hours to Northwestern State University in partial fulfillment of degree requirements for the Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Allied Health.
