The Gallaspy College of Education and Human Development at NSU prepares future educators, counselors, and human service professionals through accredited, hands-on programs. With expert faculty and strong school partnerships, graduates are equipped to lead, inspire, and make a lasting impact in their communities.
NSU’s Health and Human Performance major prepares students for careers in fitness, wellness, sports, and rehabilitation through science-based coursework and hands-on training. Graduates gain the knowledge and practical experience to promote healthy lifestyles and improve physical performance across diverse populations.
The Military Science and Leadership program at NSU develops students into confident leaders through Army ROTC training, academics, and hands-on experience. Cadets build discipline, teamwork, and critical decision-making skills while preparing for service as commissioned officers or leadership roles in any career field.
NSU’s Psychology and Addiction Studies program combines scientific study of human behavior with specialized training in substance abuse prevention and treatment.
