PowerPoint Recording

Would you like an easy (and free) tool to make your lecture presentations more engaging to your students? PowerPoint is equipped with valuable tools to record lectures and add video and to any presentation. In this workshop, you will learn how to record using PowerPoint and how to share your videos with your students.

Creating Groups in Moodle

Have you ever wanted to design a discussion or assignment that can be done by students as groups? In this workshop, we will define Moodle groups and demonstrate how to set up groups and how to use them in your courses.

Accessible Documents

Join us in this workshop and you will learn how to create accessible documents in Word and Adobe Acrobat. We will also discuss accessibility in other Microsoft applications, such as PowerPoint and Excel.

Clipchamp/Stream

In this workshop, we will demonstrate some of the tools of Clipchamp, a free video editor that is part of Microsoft 365 and now integrated into Stream. Topics discussed will include an orientation to working with the timeline, bringing media files into the program, cutting pieces of video, adding transitions, and screen recording within Clipchamp. We will also demonstrate how to export video out of the program, add captioning, and share with students.

Defining the Path:  Using Completion Tracking and Restrict Access in Moodle

Empower Your Students with Smarter Course Navigation!

Want to make sure your students stay on track and access the right resources at the right time? Join us for an interactive workshop where we’ll explore how Completion Tracking and Restrict Access can help streamline your course and enhance student engagement.

  • Completion Tracking gives students and instructors clear visibility into progress, ensuring they know when activities or resources have been viewed or completed.
  • Restrict Access enables instructors to set conditions—such as requiring task completion, limiting access to specific groups, or defining availability windows—to guide students step by step through course materials.

Whether you’re looking to improve organization, create a structured learning path, or simply boost student accountability, this workshop will provide the practical strategies you need to make your course more dynamic and effective.

Join us and take your course navigation to the next level!
