December Tech Toolbox: Choosing Accessible Applications
Instructors sometimes need to identify third-party applications for use by students. These tools need to be as accessible as possible, especially under the new federal guidelines and state policies for accessibility. If for some reason the application cannot meet the needs of certain students, reasonable alternatives will need to be identified in order for those students to be able to achieve an equivalent educational experience. Read on to learn about how to find and interpret the accessibility information provided by vendors.
