CHRISTUS Health grows cohort programs for Central Louisiana healthcare students

Native Nations Intertribal will present a traditional music and dance informance on Friday, July 17 at 6 p.m. the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and Northwest Louisiana History Museum at 800 Front St. in Natchitoches. The event will be free and open to the public. NSU alumna Emilyn Matthews Horton, left, received Phi Mu Fraternity’s Outstanding Alumna Achievement Award for Contribution to the Community at the organization’s 2026 National Convention in Atlanta. The award is presented to one alumna every two years from Phi Mu’s worldwide membership of more than 200,000 women. Lynn Storlien McGraw, national president of Phi Mu, presented the award.
