NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Office of Career Services will hold its Spring 2026 Career Fair on Tuesday, Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Friedman Student Union Ballroom.
The event is open to both undergraduate and graduate students at NSU who would like to connect with employers and explore internships and full-time opportunities. Students should bring their résumé and be prepared to be interviewed. Director of Career Services Tiffany Carrier Killion said networking with different employers from multiple industries can increase the chances of finding an internship or job after graduation.
Free headshots will be available from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. courtesy of NSU’s marketing team.
Prior to the Career Fair from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., students can take part in The Demon Wears Prada. a special event where costuming students from the School of Creative and Performing Arts can help individuals put together polished, professional business attire for the Career Fair. Participants will receive personalized styling help and can keep one complete outfit for free.
Employers planning to attend include the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, Charter Schools USA, Natchitoches Regional Medical Center, the Beauregard Parish School Board, Cintas Corporation, Louisiana Legislative Auditor, Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development and the Louisiana Department of State Civil Service.
Other prospective employers are the City of Baton Rouge/Parish of East Baton Rouge, CHRISTUS Health, Crest Industries, Northwestern Mutual – North Louisiana, Natchitoches Army Recruiting, BOM Bank, the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts and the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Also participating are Enterprise Mobility, the Louisiana Department of Health – Sanitarian Services, IHS Group, U.S. Department of State, the LA Workforce Commission, Ochsner LSU Health, Behavioral Specialists of Louisiana, Coca-Cola UNITED and the Texas Department of Public Safety.
