NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Phi Beta Delta chapter will present this semester’s Language and Culture Series installment focusing on Belgium at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26 in Russell Hall Room 107.

Christine Ferrell, a native of Belgium and French speaker, will be guest lecturer offering insights into Belgian language and culture. Ferrell is currently a counselor/instructor in NSU’s Counseling Center following a 30-year career as a world language educator working with elementary, high school and college students.
Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars is an organization dedicated to recognizing scholarly achievement in international education. With hundreds of chapters worldwide, the society connects students, faculty and staff who have demonstrated a strong dedication to international education awareness and academic excellence.
NSU’s Eta Mu chapter supports the university’s international programs by offering lectures, study abroad panels and cultural series sessions focused on countries around the world and scholarships to support study-abroad opportunities.
