NSU commemorates 25th anniversary of 9/11

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University students, faculty and staff gathered in the heart of campus Friday to commemorate the 25thanniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.  The university annually hosts a 9/11 Patriot Day lowering of flags to half-staff, a moment of silence and a message to remember those who perished in the attacks on America, the bravery of both first responders and ordinary citizens and the importance of compassion, community and service.
