NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Homecoming parade and pep rally will be staged entirely on campus starting at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, rather than its usual route though the Natchitoches Historic District. The Natchitoches Classic Car Show set to take place downtown Oct. 3-4 necessitated the change.
The Homecoming parade line up at the NSU Elementary Lab, turn left onto Central Drive, turn right onto Sam Sibley Drive in front of the WRAC and then left onto Caspari Street in front of the Student Services Center. From there it will proceed past the west side of Turpin Stadium end at the tailgate field where the pep rally will take place.

Lifetime Alumni Association members eat for free. Children 12 and under can get food and two soft drinks for $7. The cost of two drink tickets only is $10.
The NSU Demons will kick off against East Texas A&M at 6 p.m. Pregame featuring the Spirit of Northwestern Demon Marching Band will be at 5:30 p.m. The presentation of the Homecoming Honor Court will be at half-time.
