NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Department of Social Work and Natchitoches Regional Medical Center will host a one-hour Lunch and Learn that qualifies participants for one hour of continuing education with complete evaluation. The event is open to the community, helping professionals and students.
“Trust-Based Relational Intervention” will start at noon Friday, Oct. 31 in Room 220 of Kyser Hall on the NSU campus. The session is also available virtually through Webex: Webex Link. Participants are invited to bring their lunch to the session.
TBRI is a trauma-informed, attachment-based framework designed to meet the needs of children and families who have experienced adversity. The presenter will be Deanna Anderson, M.Ed., family education coordinator for the Family Resource Center. The Family Resource Center offers service to families across 10 parishes in northwest Louisiana equipping communities with tools that foster healing, resilience and relational safety.
