Powerlifter Rubin Seastrunk
NATCHITOCHES – Rubin Seastrunk of Pineville, a member of Northwestern State University’s Powerlifting Club, competed in USA Powerlifting State Games at West Monroe High School on May 30. Seastrunk (188 lb. weight class) placed second in the Men’s Equipped Open Division. His results were Squat: 460lbs (New Personal Record), Bench: 280lbs (New Personal Record), Deadlift: 445lbs, for a combined total of 1,185 lbs.
