NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Eugene P. Watson Memorial Library will host the spring edition of “Watson’s Living Library: Everyone Has a Story” from 10 a.m.-noon Wednesday, Feb. 4 in the Ora G. Williams Digital Media Center-NSU TV Studio, Kyser Hall Room 142.

This semester’s edition is a continuation of a popular session presented last year and will recognize outstanding NSU employees who work hard behind the scenes as NSU’s “Unsung Heroes.”

“The Living Library would like to shine a light on their commitment, integrity and selfless service to NSU’s mission and values,” said Deborah Huntington, program coordinator.

Watson’s Living Library: Everyone Has a Story series is a concept that encourages individuals to share their experiences so that listeners get a first-hand account of what the person saw or lived through. The panels are recorded and become part of the collection at Watson Library that researchers can use to supplement books, journals and other traditional resources for research.

In April, the next Living Library program will be “A Taste of Natchitoches,” culinary stories and experiences from local restaurants/owners.

Admission is free and open to the public.  For information, contact Huntington at huntingtond@nsula.edu.
