NATCHITOCHES – Architect Guy Carwile will lead a discussion about the Melrose-Ghana House, the Badin-Roque House and the Murphy Trading House. Carwile is the Ken Hollis Endowed Professor of Architecture at Louisiana Tech and Architect Emeritus for the state of Louisiana. His discussion will include his updated documentation drawings of the rare 18th century Murphy Trading House.

The historic preservation talk will be at 5:3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19 in the Cammie G. Henry Research Center located on the third floor of Watson Memorial Library, 1501 University Parkway, Natchitoches.
