Campus Life, Student Organizations, and Volunteer Opportunities

The Lousiana Scholars’ College is a living and learning environment. Scholars’ students have a designated living area in University Place Phase II, the apartment-style dorms on Northwestern State’s campus. NSU houses over 100 recognized student organizations, all of which hold volunteer events. Check out http://nsula.orgsync.com/ for a full list. Get involved!

Some of our students volunteer with Natchitoches Hope for Paws, a local rescue organization that is run solely on donated funds and supplies.

There are lots of service and service learning opportunities across campus. Contact Mr. Steve Gruesbeck, Director of Service Learning at 318.357.5911 or email at sgruesbeck@nsula.edu.
