Northwestern Hills Golf Course
Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or picking up a club for the first time, the Northwestern Hills Golf Course offers a fun, affordable way to stay active and enjoy the outdoors. This beautifully maintained 18-hole course is open to NSU students, faculty, staff, and community members, providing a laid-back, country club-style experience close to campus.
The course is walkable, beginner-friendly, and surrounded by scenic views of Natchitoches — making it a favorite spot for students to recharge.
Complex Pool
When the Louisiana heat kicks in, there’s no better place to be than the Complex Pool. Open seasonally, the pool is a favorite hangout for NSU students and the Natchitoches community looking to cool off, unwind, or socialize in a relaxed outdoor setting. With plenty of space to swim laps, lounge poolside, or take a refreshing dip, it’s a go-to destination for warm afternoons and weekend escapes.
Tennis Courts
Serve up fun all year long at the NSU Recreation Complex! Our four tennis courts are open daily and free for everyone in the community — no membership or reservation required. Just grab your racquet and get in the game!
