Getting Connected to Wi-Fi

You’ll need:

Moodle: Online Learning Made Simple

Moodle is NSU’s official learning platform for online classes. Note: NSU does not support the Moodle mobile app. Please use a browser.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Add an extra layer of security to your myNSU account.

Setup MFA

To setup multi-factor authentication on your myNSU account you will need at least one of the following:

  • A mobile device running iOS or Android
  • A mobile phone that can receive text messages
  • A mobile or landline phone that can receive voice calls

  • Browsers: Firefox 115+, Chrome 115+
  • Webcam, Microphone, Word Processor, Adobe Reader Download

Mac:

  • OS: Monterey 12+, RAM: 8GB+, HD: 4GB+ free
  • Same browser and communication tool requirements as Windows

Note: Chromebooks are not recommended for coursework.

Single Sign-On (SSO) Format

The username format is derived from the following convention:

  • first initial + up to 13 characters of last name + last 6 digits of Campus Wide ID (CWID
  • Example: jdoe456789

Recover your Username

Initial Password

DemonsMMDDYY (example: Demons120184)

 

After first login, set your recovery options through Password Management to easily reset passwords in the future.
