About Our School
The School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) at NSU brings together five dynamic academic units under one interdisciplinary umbrella:
Student Support: FLAME & PPSAC
A peer-centered academic support initiative offering in-person and virtual help—from homework and concept comprehension to exam preparation—hosted weekly by STEM faculty in the Academic Success Center at Watson Library.
PPSAC guides pre-health students through application readiness—reviewing transcripts, personal statements, facilitating mock interviews, and issuing committee evaluation letters. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements (e.g. GPA, junior status) and submit a formal application.
