Planning an Event or Unique Setup? Let’s Get it Right.

Special requests—like decorations or structural changes—require review for safety and compliance. Since these are not budgeted by the university, departments must cover any related costs. To start, submit your request 90 days in advance. Most regulatory agencies require 30–45 days for approval. For help navigating approvals or planning your event setup, contact the Physical Plant at (318) 357-4519. Written conditions and permissions will follow your submission.

Only NSU Physical Plant employees or supervised contractors may perform work—no outside vendors allowed without prior written approval.
