The Student Activities Board (SAB) is a student-led organization at Northwestern State University dedicated to creating memorable experiences and building community through campus events. From concerts and comedians to homecoming celebrations, movie nights, and cultural showcases, UPC makes campus life vibrant, inclusive, and fun.

What We Do

SAB is the heartbeat of student life at NSU, offering a full calendar of events each semester. Highlights include:

Miss Lady of the Bracelet Pageant

 

The Lady of the Bracelet Pageant is one of Northwestern State University’s most cherished traditions, celebrating scholarship, leadership, talent, and service while providing contestants the opportunity to earn scholarships and represent NSU at the Miss Louisiana competition. The Student Activities Board (SAB) proudly hosts this annual event, continuing a tradition that has been part of campus life for decades and showcasing outstanding students who embody the spirit of Northwestern.
