Asset and Space Management

Asset & Space Management

We manage more than assets—we manage accountability. From tracking every capital asset to maintaining up-to-date building records and reporting to state and federal agencies, the Asset Manager ensures compliance, accuracy, and transparency. This department plays a vital role in how NSU maximizes space utilization, supports maintenance operations, and meets Louisiana state standards. Every data point we manage ultimately supports better decision-making, smarter campus development, and improved student services.

Property Control

Property Control

We protect NSU’s physical assets with precision and care. Under the guidance of the Louisiana Property Assistance Agency, our Property Control Office tracks, tags, and verifies every movable asset on campus. From inventory audits to surplus transfers, we ensure accountability at every level. Each department has a part to play—no item moves without proper documentation. Together, we maintain transparency, compliance, and stewardship of state property for every NSU student’s benefit.
